IMPORTANT NOTICE

Lakefront Common Area Along Old Bush River Road

We are seeing an increase of ILLEGAL ACTIVITY in the common area along the lakefront on Old Bush River Road (between the boat ramp and the pump station at the corner of Old Bush River Road and Murray Lindler Road).

PLEASE NOTE - the common area along the lakefront is an SCE&G Vegetative Buffer Zone Protected Area and is CLEARLY POSTED by signs along this area.

There is to be absolutely NO clearing, cutting of trees, or other alterations along the shoreline.

There is to be NO dumping or burning of any kind along the shoreline.

This area is NOT approved as an access point for the purpose of launching boats and/or parking boats. Boats should only be launched from the SCE&G permitted community ramp. Canoes and kayaks may be launched from the ramp or from the designated beach area adjacent to the ramp.

Our HOA has a permit for the community dock, ramp and beach area and is to abide by SCE&G's Shoreline Management and Vegetation Protection Agreement.

It is your responsibility, as a resident of Bush River Plantation, to abide by these restrictions. Failure to do so may result in fines, and in a worst case scenario, may result in the loss of the HOA's dock and lake access permit.

This is a HOA "common area" and only BRP HOA property/amenities should be placed in these areas. All personal property should be removed immediately.

The "common area" along Old Bush River Road is not to be used as an additional parking area for vehicles. All vehicles are to be parked in your garage or in your driveway as outlined in the HOA covenants: Article III, Section 13.

Any residents found in violation of SCE&G's Shoreline Management and Vegetation Protection Agreement should be reported to the HOA Board immediately so that measures can be taken to prevent our community from losing its dock and lake access permit!
